I love going to school and it is going to
be over soon. Next week is my last week. And this week was my
last time with Miss Nancy for music. I really LOVE music. I
enjoy listening to music but I really love singing. I have been doing
a little improvisation while I sing familiar songs. It keeps my
listeners on their toes.
I had my first full blown temper tantrum
in public while out to lunch with Pa, Mommy, and Ian. Basically I
didn't want to wear my shoes at the restaurant or sit in my seat.
Mommy and I had to leave for a few minutes so that I could calm down.
A few minutes later Mr. Hyde disappeared and Dr. Jekyll returned and
all was at peace in the world.
This weekend was Memorial Day weekend and
we had two BBQs. The first one was with my friends Cassie and Gabi.
We ate dinner outside on my princess table. Cody, Cassie's dog, came
over to play with Wilson. They had a great time chasing one another.
They were having so much fun that they ran and knocked me down and I got a
big knot on my forehead - ouch! Our second BBQ was a family one but it
was a lot colder so we ate inside.

First cone of the year.
May 15 - May 21, 2007

I got to attend Ian's last class today.
It was really fun. There were a bunch of cute babies but I really like
playing with the instruments and bubbles. I think I had more fun than
Ian did. On Friday, I got to see more babies as Mommy hosted Ian's
playgroup at our house. I had fun with the babies but I got really
upset when one was using my booster seat.
We had a busy weekend. I went to my
friend Aiden's 3rd birthday at Gymboree. It was SO much fun. Ian
went too. I played and climbed and ate M&Ms. It doesn't get much
better than that. The next day we all went to Ashley's baby naming.
I got to see the cute doggies and eat watermelon.
I am starting to be more assertive with my
friends. Sometimes it borders on being bossy. I figure that it's
safe to try things out on my friends since they are my friends.

Latest Quest for Independence:
Insisting that I do everything myself whether I can really do it
or not.
May 8 - May 14, 2007

Recently I decided that I like having my
picture taken by Mommy. I especially like seeing the image on the
digital camera after she presses the button. "Let me see" I say which
is followed by "Take another." Ian and I got Mommy a fancy new camera
for Mother's Day so now she can take even more fabulous photos of us.
If I miss my afternoon nap window I don't
nap. This doesn't happen too often but when it does watch out!
The worst is when I fall asleep in the car when I am only 5 minutes from the
house. If this happens it is highly likely that I am not going to
sleep once I get home.

May 1 - May 7, 2007
(2 year, 35 weeks)
This week was generally a good week but
the weekend was GREAT. I got to see Aunt Lauren and Uncle Jeffrey AND
Super Grover and Elmo all during the three day stretch! Aunt Lauren
came on Friday and I picked her up from the airport. We went to the
Children's Museum and played. Then it was off to Potbellys for a Mocha
Shake and turkey sandwich. On Saturday, Mommy, Daddy, Ian, and I went
to see Super Grover with a huge group of friends. It was so fun and my
favorite parts were with Elmo and all of the dancing. Afterwards we
had yummy pizza and I chased the boys. On Sunday and Monday I got to
see Uncle Jeffrey and family. Food was involved (as usual) both times.
Good thing that everyone likes to eat good food. I think somewhere it
is stated as a Pogany prerequisite.
Ian is crawling and standing and touching
things (primarily my toys) and he doesn't ask! I keep telling him "NO
Ian!" and then I take whatever it is I think he shouldn't be touching
and I put it up high or on the stairs. Mommy says not to put things on
the stairs because it is dangerous. But I think it is the best place
because he can still see the toy - he just can't touch it.
