37 Months - October 2007
October 23 - October 29, 2007

This week was special guest day at school and
I brought Daddy with me. We got to play and go to the different
centers. We also had circle time and the whole class sang our new
songs for our guests.
We also got three pumpkins this weekend!
Two of them we got at Sammy's 3rd birthday party. He had it at Didier
Farms. We went on a hay ride out to the pumpkin patch where we got to
select our own pumpkins. I found a fun pumpkin that has green on the
top and the bottom. Ian got a regular little round pumpkin. We
also got a nice big pumpkin for carving from the store.
October 16 - October 22, 2007
(3 years 7 weeks)
This was a very special week. First my
teacher came to my house and spent 30 minutes with just me. I showed
her my room and played for a while and then we ate the cookies that I
decorated and baked the day before while we chatted. It was so nice.
My teacher brought me a book and some fun Halloween toys. It was such
a nice visit.
The other super exciting thing that happened
is that I went to the American Girl store with Mommy, Gabi, and her mommy.
Of course Gabi's baby and baby Colleen went too. When we got there we
had a special brunch with heart shaped pancakes on a heart shaped plate.
Baby Colleen even had her own seat right next to mine at the table.
She had tea. After brunch we played in the store and then we saw the
Bitty Bear theater performance which I enjoyed very much.
We also took a little trip to Door County
this weekend. It was beautiful up there. We got honey crisp
apples and we saw a light house and got to walk on the beach.

October 9 - October 15, 2007

I am learning a lot of new songs at school
and I like singing them for Mommy once I get home. We are starting to
learn some Halloween songs - like Old Mrs. Witch, I'm a Witch, and 5 Little
Pumpkins.
This week was Daddy's birthday. Ian and
I got him a very nice shirt and sweater that he can wear to work. We
had cupcakes instead of cake (Mommy cropped out the cupcakes from the
picture below in which Daddy had just blown out his candles).
This week I got to bring the snack to school
(apple sauce, bee grahams, and white grape juice). I also got to be
the everything person for the day. This is a real big deal in
preschool. I can't wait until it's my day to bring the snack again!
Mommy took us Halloween costume shopping and
you'll never guess what I am going to be...a princess! I got a
beautiful dress that lights up on the skirt. I can't wait to wear it!

October 2 - October 8, 2007

It is October but it's not Halloween yet
so it can only mean that it must be "Princess Monday!" Most days after
naps my friends and I meet outside and we play together. On this
particular day, which is honestly not much different from other days, we
donned our finest gowns and ran around like princesses until dinner time.
