I went to my first party at Gymboree and had
a blast! The party was for one of Rachel's friends but I got to go
along since Daddy was out playing paintball. While Rachel and the big
kids played on the mats I had a pile of whiffle-type balls to chase and bat
around. We're talking maybe 30 balls all to myself. It was
fantastic. I also got to crawl and pull myself up on all sorts of
equipment. Plus everyone told me how cute I am which is always nice to
hear.
I am becoming quite the keyboard master.
Lately I really enjoy pulling myself up and playing the keyboard.
Earlier today I put the microphone to my mouth and made noise. I
became extremely pleased with myself when I heard my voice amplified.
One of my favorite things to do is play in
the tub. There is nothing like having a good splash!

Well my weight check revealed that I am
still in the 3rd percentile weighing in at 17 lbs. 4 oz. but they are not
worried as I am still growing. I do get to remain on my high fat diet
- bring on the butter!
My very last class is this week and I'm going
to miss seeing all my friends. Fortunately I have been going to a
playgroup with some of the girls from my class so I will continue to see
them after this week. I am actually hosting a play date on Friday!
It is going to be so fun! I usually get to hang out with Rachel and
her friends and on Friday it will be her chance to meet mine.
I got to celebrate my first Mother's Day with
Mommy. Rachel and I got her a real snazzy camera. She has been
taking a TON of pictures. Maybe some of them will eventually wind up
on my site!
Aunt Lauren sent some pictures from her visit
a few weeks ago and included was one of me enjoying my very first ice cream
cone. Wow was it good!

mmm...mmm...GOOD!

All I want to do is walk. Hold onto
my hands and then look out world. I keep pulling myself up on Mommy
and I get frustrated when she doesn't take me walking immediately. I
clearly need the practice as I am quite wobbly but I am getting the stepping
thing down quite nicely.
I saw Super Grover on Saturday and it was
AMAZING! I had SUCH a great time! I danced and waved my arms and
clapped the entire time (over an hour). Honestly, the 2 1/2 year old
crowd just didn't seem as into it as I was. They claimed to have a
good time but their body language said otherwise.
I am a solid food eating machine! I
go in for my weigh in this week. I am hoping that the doctor will be
pleased. We're not holding our breath though. They're pretty
tough at the pediatrician office.

"They're always after me lucky charms!"

I am saying "Yes." At least it
sounds like yes and when Mommy is feeding me and she asks if I'd like
more..."yes?" I say "yes." Daddy (always the skeptic) isn't too
sure that I am really saying yes. He's not convinced that I am able to
process the question that Mommy is asking me. Let me think about that
one. Hmmm...I am always hungry. I like food. When asked if
I want more of what I like to eat the answer is YES! The logic here
supports that I am indeed saying "Yes."
So a few days ago I was taking a few
random steps while holding onto Mommy or Daddy's hands well today I took it
up a notch and I was walking all around the house with Daddy. Anyone
want to place an under/over wager as to when I start walking? Daddy
thinks by the end of May.
I forgot to mention this in my last
posting but can you believe that I am 10 months old! That one year
mark is creeping up fast.

"Vroom..."
My New Best Friend: Wilson. I
learned that I can feed him yesterday.
Now he has a
permanent seat next to my high chair.
April 19 - April 25, 2007
(43 weeks old)
I pulled myself up into a stand this week.
I was playing with Rachel's block/train table and the next thing Mommy knew
I was standing and holding on. I am crawling up a storm and I am
getting really fast too. I am also starting to take a few steps while
holding onto Mommy or Daddy's hands.
I had my first non-baby food meal after
class this week. Mommy gave me turkey lunchmeat and whole wheat bread.
I loved it.
I got my right front tooth and I have been
waking up early I think from my teething. It looks like I will also
get getting the tooth next to my newest top tooth as my gums are all
bruised.
I am still saying "da da" but now I will
even repeat it (sometimes) when I am asked to say "da da."

"Go Wings!"
Favorite Playground Equipment: The
swings!
