Month 14 - September 2007

September 20 - September 26, 2007

We're back home again and I got to go to my first music class.  I had such a great time.  I have some friends in the class but there are a lot of new faces too.  When Zeila brought out the instruments I dove right in and grabbed a few.  I crawled and explored and laughed.  I can't wait until next week.

I really like going to the park when I get out of the stroller.  I like climbing up the slide and up platforms.  I also really love the swings.

My mornings are spent with just Ian and Mommy.  Some days we just play but we also run errands like to the store and the farmer's market for honey crisp apples - yum!

September 13 - September 19, 2007

I went to Aidan's party at Pump It Up and had a great time bouncing with Mommy and Daddy.  I also ate pizza - YUM. 

This week I went on a road trip with Mommy and Rachel to go visit Ma in Michigan.  Grandpa Jim is in the hospital and Mommy wanted to go see him.  I was such a good boy in the car.  When we got to Michigan Mommy left Rachel and I at Lincoln's house and I cried.  I was so upset that I slept with Mommy that night.  On Tuesday we went to the animal Farm at the park.  I really liked the baby pigs and the chickens.

My latest words are "Bow wow wow" and "Round and Round" (ceiling fan).

September 6 - September 12, 2007

I said my first word on September 5 - it was "Ball" which sounds more like (Ba).  I have been making a lot of consonant and vowel sounds for a while (e.g. da da da da).  However, ball is the first word that I use correctly for a ball.  I also said my second word on Saturday, September 8 - "Hi."  I said hi to Mommy when she came to get me out of my crib.  I like to repeat "hi" and if you say hi to me I keep saying it in response. 

My hair is getting really long.  When my curls loosen you can really tell.  Some old person the other day asked if I was a girl - um HELLO I am about as boy looking as they come AND I was wearing a skull or truck shirt.  I think maybe their eye sight wasn't too good.  Anyway Mommy can't bring herself to snip my locks.  She's afraid that the curls might disappear and they are just too cute to loose.

Big Eater:  Most meals can eat more than Rachel. 
Not sure if we've hit that 20 lb. marker yet.  Maybe we should buy a scale.

August 30 - September 5, 2007

I went to my second Cubs game on Rachel's birthday.  I had more fun than I did at my first game.  Maybe because I am an older and more seasoned Cubs fan.  Too bad they didn't win.

I also went to my second Ravinia concert and saw Ralph's World.  I didn't actually see Ralph but I heard the music and I danced when I wasn't eating goldfish crackers.  I really love to dance.  Since I am not walking it is a sitting type dance but a dance none the less.
