April 17 - April 23, 2008
(1 Year 43 weeks old)
More warm days! Ah, I love the park.
I am not to keen on the swings and slides but I really like to climb.
I also like to push things like this bicycle merry go round. It was
fun to ride, especially when Mommy ran very fast and pushed Rachel and I.
But mostly I liked trying to push it like Mommy did. I grunted a lot
and kept saying "go!"
Happy Passover. We had the family
over for the Seder on Saturday. My friend Caroline and her family
joined us as well. I liked eating Matzoh, charoset, and Grandma Gigi's
special eggs but the rest of the meal I could do without well that is until
dessert. I take after Mommy - I like cake!

"Go! Go! Go!"
22 Months and counting - only
2 more months until the big 2 year celebration!
April 10 - April 16, 2008
(1 Year 42 weeks old)
A warm day and a dirt pile with small
rocks - every young boys dream - and an immediate attraction for me. I
spent a good half an hour scooping up and throwing stones and then laughing
about it. Ah, life's simple pleasures.
I love beans. No, let me rephrase
that I really really love beans. And not just any kind of bean - no I
love chocolate beans (aka M&Ms). Rachel has been going potty and
getting beans and I found myself wanting to get in on the action. Not
the potty part per se but the the tasty bean part.
I also share my sister's passion for shoes
and lately I have been wearing any pair of Rachel's that I can find and put
on. I've tried Mommy's and Daddy's shoes but I find them to be too
larger and cumbersome and I just can't be bothered with that. Rachel's
shoes on the other hand are just right - easy to put on by myself and I can
walk around the house without falling. My favorite pair you ask?
Well those would be her pink fuzzy crocs. I think this spurred Mommy's
trip to the Bootery where I got my very own pair of crocs - Red and black
Pirate ones! Really cool - Thanks Mommy!

Mouth, Ming Ming, Water, Shoes
April 3 - April 9, 2008

One of my favorite things to do lately is
blow bubbles. Mommy bought these really neat bubbles where you squeeze
the bottle and the wand comes up automatically with the soap on it. No
more lost wands and minimal mess - always a good thing. But the best
part is that they make great bubbles and I can do it myself. We have a
little cubby by the door where my bubbles sit and every time that I see them
I say "bubbles bubbles."
Today the weather was beautiful and I got
to ride a bike for the first time. Rachel is too big for the Kettler
bike so it has been passed down to me and I really like riding it. I
am also very proficient at ringing the bell. Rachel got a new princess
bike and I can tell you that there is no way that I am riding it once
she out grows it.

March 27 - April 2, 2008
(1 Year 40 weeks old)
I am finally feeling better. I had a
really nasty stomach flu all week. I lost 3 lbs. and I threw up on
Mommy - twice. I have watched more episodes of Bob the Builder than I
can count. I think that I know all of the ones currently playing on On
Demand by heart. I can definitely sing along with the "Bob the
Builder" song. I think Mommy also did more laundry this week than she
had for the past two months. I really don't recommend the stomach flu
and I recommend pedialyte even less - that stuff tastes terrible!
Now I have to make up for lost time - food
wise. I have been eating some really big portions. I have to get
back on task and start bulking up for my 24 month appointment.

"Future NHLer"
March 20 - March 26, 2008
(1 Year 39 weeks old)
I turned 21 months this week. Rachel
was this old when I was born. I can't imagine being a big brother at
such a tender age. I wonder how she managed so well?
Happy Easter. In honor of Easter and
what I am hoping is our last snowfall of the year, we made a snow bunny.
This obviously outraged someone as he was kicked over last night. But
we Poganys are excellent builders and Daddy was able to simple push him back
upright, intact, this morning.
I went to a paint your own pottery place
with Rachel and friends and I painted a car. I did 98% of it myself.
Mommy touched up a couple spots that I'd missed but ultimately I did an
amazing job (or so I was told). It's primarily an olive green color
but very decorative with red swirls and black.

"Hippy Hoppity"
New Words: Bye.
Hot. Nine. Some letters of the alphabet while
singing the ABC song.
