Ian's Sonoma County Adventure...

Chateau St. Jean (as in denim surprisingly enough) has beautiful grounds and ok wines if you're into that mass produced thing.  The tasting room experience turned frightening as our host informed us that "people your age enjoy white zinfandel not pinots and cabs..."  What planet did he come from? I mean most people my age prefer formula or breast milk!   Skip the $$ Cinq Cepages (not that great) and stick with their basics - fume blanc and chardonnays.
