We took a trip to Door County and after
watching Thomas videos and Snow White the only thing I could do to remain
entertained was attempt to chew on my toe. This is a pretty remarkable
feat since I have the flexibility of Daddy (basically little to none).
Pa went with us and it was nice to share the back seat with him and Mommy
for a change. Rachel got to sit in the third row all by herself.
I think she likes having the special seat.
We had a neighborhood BBQ and all of our
friends came over with their families. We got to play with the outside
toys and eat lots of yummy food. The best was the little pizza bites -
yum! Cooper brought over a big blow up bouncy but I wanted nothing to
do with it. I am happy with my little lawn mower - which Mommy
recently added the bubbles to. Now it blows bubbles as I mow - very
cool.

I can repeat most words now. Not
always clearly but I give it a go. Mommy and Daddy still don't quite
understand me when I really get talking about something. It's a little
frustrating at times. I mean could I be any clearer?
My friend Ronan had his first birthday
party (you can see the cool water slide and bouncy in the background).
But what I really liked was his new Thomas the Train set. It's now my
sole reason for wanting to go across the street. That and the fact
that I am in love with Madi. She's like my second mom. I like to
cuddle her almost as much as Mommy.
I made a fruit loop necklace at camp this
week and I got to eat it myself. But let me tell you that Rachel
really had issues with that as SHE wanted to eat my necklace. It's
funny how her things are hers and somehow my things are hers too.

Happy 4th of July from the one and only
cool guy! I decorated my shirt myself at camp. It wasn't
necessarily for the 4th of July but the colors are appropriate so here I am.
I got to ride my bike in the parade with all the big kids. Well I
should say that I sat on my bike while Mommy pushed me through the parade.
I am getting better at counting. I
can count to ten easily and do pretty well all the way up to twenty.
We count the stairs as we walk them everyday. But I also under stand
the concept of two things. Daddy asked me how many cookies I had and I
told him two. I'm starting to point at items and count but sometimes I
recount ones that I've previously counted. I get there someday.

I went to the train exhibit at the Botanic
Gardens and I didn't want to leave. There are "choo choos" galore!
My favorite was Thomas! He and the girls, Annie and Clarabelle, were
chugging along. I was SO excited. Even though my birthday was
all about Bob, now that I am two I've matured and have become a train
fanatic. Daddy's building me a train table and I can't wait until it's
finished. Well actually I think I am not supposed to know it's being
built but since Mommy and Daddy talk freely about it in front of me I guess
it can't be too big a secret.
The tile lady came to camp this week and I
got to make a hand print tile. I made one last year and Mommy loved it
so I can't wait for her to see the one I made this year now that I am older.
We've also been doing a lot of fun summer
things. Mommy took Rachel and I to the sprinkler park. I like
the "big big rain" and driving my Caterpillar truck from Lauren in the
water. If any other little kids try to take it from me I get
pretty defensive and scream "mine!" You don't mess with a man's truck!
