It's that time of the year. The
holiday season. Mommy, Rachel and I went to see Santa at the mall.
He was very nice. I have the biggest pout you could ever imaging in
the "professional" Santa photo. This one Mommy took early on during
our visit. The mall people don't really like you taking your own pics
but I digress. Before I left Santa's lap I told him that I liked Choo
Choos and that I really wanted Diesel 10 for Christmas. We'll see if
the old man comes through. I've been pretty good this year so I am
hopeful. To be an equal opportunity holiday celebrator, I should let
you know that we had a really nice Hanukkah dinner with the family on the
first night. I am starting to repeat the candle prayer. While some of
my pronunciations aren't quite there yet, I give it a really good try each
night. I am also counting the candles correctly!
I am officially 2 1/2! It's all very
exciting. This opens up a whole new world for me.

Another day another snow. This was a
much better snow day than the one last week. First, we made a cool
snowman/bunny and secondly, I got to use my mower. It's always a good
day when one can use their mower.
I went to go see the Choo Choos at the
Botanic Gardens with Pa. It was our first official "outing."
We've gone other places alone together but this was like when Pa and Rachel
go to the theater kind of outing. We saw the trains and then we went
to lunch. It was great.

I like to mow and I like the snow but the
two do not go together at all. After we dropped Rachel off for school
Mommy and I went to play in the snow. I immediately requested my
mower, which Mommy dug out for me. Unfortunately it doesn't work very
well in the snow and I got really upset. So much so that we had to
come in because I was crying hysterically. Then I cried when we came
in because I didn't have my mower. It's hard being 2.
We went to Rachel's dance observation day.
It was fun to see Rachel dancing AND I got to have two lollipops.
Lollipops make anything great. Plus Pa was there. We got to go
to lunch with him afterwards. I like seeing Pa.

Happy Thanksgiving! Uncle Jeffrey
and Aunt Lauren came from NY to see me. Well, they said that they came
in for Thanksgiving but I really know it was to see me. They brought
early Hanukkah gifts and I got two NY subway trains for my Thomas track!
They so fun. I even took the #6 train to bed with me.
Speaking of bed, lately I am not interested in going
there
for night or nap. Whenever Mommy or Daddy mention changing my diaper
or going upstairs. I quickly state "No bed." Even though there
are times when it's not even bed time. The thing is I need my sleep
still and I am out like a light about two minutes after I am in my crib.
I've given up on the big boy bed for the time being. I like to read
stories on it and play on it but sleeping on it right now is not an option.
I say "other bed" and off to la la land I venture.
