I took a break from my busy day of playing
with trains, watching train DVDs, reading train books, or talking about
trains to strike a pose (vogue, vogue) with my new haircut. I of
course, watched Thomas while I was getting my hair cut and if I recall
properly even in the car on the way home. Mommy said that I look handsome.
I told her "No! I am cute." She conceded.
I have a new love - the computer. I
know, you're thinking "my he's awfully young" but I am getting pretty good.
Mommy got a Thomas the Tank computer game from the library a few weeks ago
and I only watched as Mommy did the clicking. As of yesterday, I am a
man with a mouse. We got a different Thomas game this week and I am clicking
away like crazy. I can do all of the games by myself. Daddy was
impressed. Now Rachel and I have to take turns. It's hard
but we're working on sharing. At least there are times during the day
when Rachel's not home or I am napping so we can take turns by ourselves.

- a winter coat that is -
even in the warm weather.

This week I went to Gabi's birthday party
at the Children's Museum. They have a special train exhibit right now
and I was in heaven. Daddy and I spent most of the time with the
trains rather than at the actual party.
On Tuesday, Mommy went to school with me.
It was a special parent visitation day. We got to demonstrate our
knowledge of shapes for the parents as we played our shape games and did the
shape hokey pokey. Mommy was impressed. We also did a special
shape art project together and played on the playground. I enjoyed
having Mommy at school but when she's not there I like to play with my
friends.

Anyone who truly knows me, knows I love
toys trains. This includes Robyn, my favorite librarian who fuels my
thirst for trains by finding special train DVDs for me. This week she
showed me the I Love Toy Trains series and I am hooked. I can't get
enough and ask to watch them ALL the time.
I like to add "y" to a lot of the words
that I use, like Milky, Blankey, Thumby, Sockys, Huggy, Uppy, etc. I
think that I sound cute when I say the words that way. I have Mommy
and Daddy sometimes saying things like me too - it's funny.

I'm officially no longer sick which is
nice. We went to the doctor for my recheck and my lungs are no longer
wheezy and my ears are fine - hooray! I must admit that I am a little
sad to be off the amoxicillin. I like the taste probably a little more
than I should. Each morning and evening Mommy would announce that it
was time for medicine and I would shout "medicine, medicine" (the same way
that I say 'hippee, hippee' which is my way of saying yippee) and run to the
refrigerator to take it out.
Anson, who is technically Rachel's friend,
was over and he and I played construction guys. We both donned our
construction hats and belts. You can see that I have my trusty
sander in my tool belt. You never know when something might need a
good sanding.

Painting is so much fun. I don't think
that we do it at home nearly enough. I doesn't matter what types of
paints we're using or whether it's at the table or at the easel - I really
enjoy painting. Lately, I have been painting more with my left hand.
Mommy has tried putting my paintbrush in my right hand but I just switch it
over. However, a little while after Mommy took this picture I picked
up the other brush and I was painting with BOTH hands at the same time.
I thought that was so funny.
Mommy has laid down the law and has
officially given me notice that at age 3 I am to walk and no more "uppies."
I honestly don't know what she's complaining about, I only weigh 26 lbs. and
that is with my clothes on.
